Approaching this CD I knew that I didn't want to do the Nashville studio thing. For this recording I wanted to be in a situation where my family and friends could be around whenever they wanted and my work hours could remain sane. So we built a studio in our back yard garage and went for it. The result was this album

The production is rich and textured, yet still manages to project a simplicity which suits the impassioned lyrics that Phil has come to be known for.
